World Conference Announcement

We produced the official video announcing the next Society for Ecological Restoration (SER) World Conference, to be held in Lisbon, Portugal. After an inspiring edition in Denver, SER2027 will bring together over a thousand researchers, policymakers, NGOs, and community leaders to advance ecological restoration worldwide.

SER’s mission is to sustain biodiversity, build climate resilience, and reconnect nature and culture — goals that make Lisbon the perfect host city. As co-chair Alice Nunes notes, SER2027 highlights the vital role of restoration in tackling today’s climate and biodiversity crises.
