This short film (20 minutes) invites viewers to explore the construction of modern Lisbon in the 19th century, from the perspective of the urban history of science through the latest research conducted by the researchers at the Interuniversity Center for the History of Science and Technology (CIUHCT). This film is an integral part of the project "Science, Technology and Medicine (STM) knowledge: Made in Portugal," coordinated by Ana Duarte Rodrigues, and created with the aim of promoting scientific and historical dissemination, making CIUHCT's research accessible to a broader audience.
